Our core business consists of Amazon loads planned on the basis of direct contracts with our partners. What was your aim in creating this portal? With Amazon Relay, Amazon has put its own loadboard online. Ěmazon offers a wide range of technologies and services for carriers.ğreight carriers have the opportunity to use Amazon Relay to increase their order volume and grow their business.Ěmazon Relay offers carriers the opportunity to reduce empty runs and flexibly use existing capacities.(and they have lots of stuff in California, and in and out of the surrounding states). Going to Phoenix can pay me well at times, but it becomes very sketchy once there due to not being able to go into California. I am seeing quite of bit of stuff bouncing between Phoenix and Vegas, which I like. And I am sure if you have been paying attention, Amazon is rumored to be getting into this market for freight outside of of their own freight.

Most of the stuff goes to a DC, but not all of it. No idea what the commodity or weight is before you book a load, at least from what I can tell.

Plenty overnight stuff if you are into those types of loads. In my initial browsing of the load board, some of the rates are decent, some are dirt cheap. There is no pay for this as far as I am aware of, so choose loads carefully if you are using your own trailer. That drop could be 2 hours, 4 hours, one day, or multiple days. Some loads are live load (trailer required) and a drop at the end. Word of caution for anybody considering doing this with your own trailer. Of course, I would get the interchange insurance if I was to start pulling their trailers, but I was surprised at how they just glossed right over that. They were supposed to add your access to the load board within 24 hours, ended up taking 4 days ( just got access today).Īlso, I did not submit trailer interchange insurance with is required for pulling their trailers, but they gave me access to their trailers anyway. For as techy as they people are, they required you to type your DOT number in a chat box where the mandatory class was as proof you attended.
